I started my career as an IT Intern as Cherokee Casino. During that internship I was able to spend some time with people in each sector of the IT department and I found my passion when I spent time with the development team there working on SharePoint 2007 customizations. From then on I focused my efforts on asp.net development, c# and SharePoint. I completed my dual degrees in MIS and Marketing from Northeastern State University and got a job at a telecommunications firm where I worked my way up to SharePoint Developer.
I am dedicated to continuous self-improvement. I stay up on the latest technologies and read several professional / career related books every year. I routinely attend and participate in professional conferences and community events in my field such as Tech Fest, SharePoint Saturdays, etc.
