Coming up fast, the Green Bay Power BI User Group online meeting, Thursday, March 25th at 2:00!
Registration is still open!
Here are our three speakers:
@Gregg Froelich of MetalTek will fill us in on the Power BI Premium Per User license. His company uses this option for Power BI licensing; and he'll describe how his company got it all set up, what are the advantages and disadvantages, and what to watch out for. Gregg's presentation is a follow-on to the overview of Power BI licensing given by our Toastmaster, @Paul VanDyck, during January's meeting.
@Steve Erbach of GLC Minerals will present The Foundation of Power BI: Power Pivot. This is the heart and soul of Power BI; where the data you've extracted from multiple sources is coordinated and linked to establish the basis for your Power BI visuals. This is not an advanced presentation; Steve will present the fundamentals with a survey of the things to watch out for.
As always with any data analysis, the better you know your own data, the better-equipped you'll be to spot the anomalies that creep into the mix as your data models grow... and the better you'll be able to know when an answer looks right.
Jolene Diederich of Mercury Marine will present a COVID Shut Downs Quality Dashboard:
- Utilizes SharePoint Lists, Power Apps and Power BI; all internal data
- Assisted in managing our global suppliers when they were shutting down due to local legislation around COVID-19. Tracked "at risk" suppliers, part numbers at risk, how Supplier Quality was mitigating that risk, if the risk is still active or complete, and when physical part audit was completed (if required).
Just
register here for the meeting. There's an
RSVP button there. We'll send you a confirmation. The link to the Teams meeting is also on the Registration page.
We hope to see you online Thursday, March 25, at 2:00!
Sincerely,------------------------------
