    Hello,

    Christoph Gschliesser used CDS within his presentation of multilanguage canvas apps. What is the best way to start with working on the PowerPlatform - (of course without an Dynamics 365) ?

    I am coming from the on-premise world. Everything is within a local domain. The users from the local domain are synced to the microsoft cloud (azure) to use the same (local) password for office365 as well. There is only one general environment and I assume it´s almost naked.

    We have created 3 additional environments DEV, TEST and LIVE. Actually I am not sure, whether this is the correct way to work on or not, because I think Microsoft has embedded the old DEV/TEST/LIVE structure thinking already in the way of how to save and publish apps. We are quite at the beginning of the USE so maybe later there is no easy way to go back.

    Is there a general manual to set up a new environment and define roles and rights or what would you suggest me to do? I want to work with CDS but do not know the best runway.

    Hi Michael,
    An environment strategy is definitely a good idea. Microsoft has published its recommendations here: https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/establishing-an-environment-strategy-for-microsoft-power-platform/
    At this point in time you will still have to do a lot of the application lifecycle manually though. Automated build&deployment is in the process of being made but still in its infancy.
    What you can do already now is to work with solutions wherever possible.
