    Hi Everyone,

    For our project, we are using on-prem Power BI Report Server in which we can have both paginated reports and normal Power BI reports. For the paginated reports hosted in Power BI report server we have the option to export as PDF or export as excel.

    Our requirement is for the normal Power BI reports hosted in Power BI report server, we have the only option to export as csv.
    We need to know if we can have export option with excel or PDF for the normal Power BI reports hosted in Power BI report server.

    Kindly share your thoughts.

    Hi,

    I am not familiar with PBI Report Server Administrative options, but in PBI Service through Admin settings you can choose between export types which are allowed to end-user.

    Also in your PBI Desktop file try checking the option under Report Settings -> Allow end-user to download both summarize & detail data from PBI Service or PBI Report Server.

    If this doesn't help you try posting your question into PBI Exchange to get help from other community members.
