UG,
I am trying to process an Excel file in Power Automate. Having trouble doing a date compare. Essentially trying to look in the file for dates that are before today, due within the next 14 days, etc. After messing with this to no avail for a long time I came across this article which indicates that the dates are stored as text and have to be converted with int. See
https://www.shanebart.com/ms-flow-excel-dates/But even doing that I am still getting an error. So I tried to just set Temp Str 1 to a date "43868.12232" and then set Temp Int 1 using this formula "
int(variables('Temp Str 1'))". It also fails if I use the formula "int(item()?['Temp Str 1'])" as shown in the BLOG post. I think these are equivalent references. But neither works. Why can't int process the string?
See images attached. Any idea what I am doing wrong?
Appreciate any help.
Thanks
Carl
