Hello group, I wanted to reach out to the local user groups to see if anyone has created an Office 365 champions group in your company.  I'm in my second year of one and looking to make some changes so I can get the most out of this group and looking to see what others have done and share my experiences.  Thanks and looking forward to a good discussion.

We have not but have done some informal business champion groups around Teams. We are still just dipping our toes into PowerApps and Flow and have not opened it up completely to all users. Definitely interested in your plans as you move forward.

    Eric
are you developing applications with power apps?
I was wondering if you maybe able to share some of your experience about licenses for PowerApps and flow
I have sql server on premise that I'm interested in using with PowerApps as the front end.
Please let  me know if you are interested in sharing some of your experience.

We have a team that supports our company's needs around O365 - some subsets of groups are being developed to support PowerApps and Flow specifically but it's still relatively small.

David,  just to clarify do you have a group outside the technology team that handles Office 365 adoption.  I'm curious if you or any other company that is reading this do any training with this champions group.

Well I guess that would be my group. I am not a part of the team O365 team responsible for supporting and developing company solutions but my team has been building and releasing PowerApps to our department and soon to be the entire organization. We are the ones engaging our leadership for the purpose of adoption of the new PowerApps we are building.

Eric, I think much like David was saying we are smaller IT staff.  We prioritize/develop Power Apps and Flow as requested.  We have Subject Matter Experts which tend to be managers who we train the trainer.  These SME act as our Champions and help prioritize request.  We do some lunch and learns to help with teaching shortcuts and tips for O365.  I've worked for companies where I they used the Champions group concept but usually that was just a the kickoff of the switchover.  You mentioned you were in the second year so I assume you have moved to O365 but finding users struggling.   I find it hard for champions to keep there positivity when a project rolls out that long.  Anyway I'm kind off your question but good luck.
